A short SEM label story...
It began in 2005, when Sasa Vojvodic aka Letna emailed Alexandre Navarro for an Ep on his previous Standard Klik Music netlabel...
Two musicians living in Paris - France, it was a good way to meet. After some days, some beers and infinite discussions about music, the 2 guys naturally became friends. Sasa pushed Alexandre to run his own netlabel and after some hesitations, EKO netlabel was found in 2006.
Very quickly, the feedback of the 2 netlabels became pretty awesome and an old dream slowly rised: making real records.
SEM label was born in 2007. The very beginning was not so easy simply because making records is another story than running a free netlabel so let's be honest, Sasa and Alexandre were totally overwhelmed... by chance Markus Schäfer join the team for all covers and SEM idendity followed by Benfay for the professional records mastering. A great support.
Now SEM label is constituted of 3 parts: SEM for records and mp3s, IOD for free mp3s and IMA as a photo gallery.
